Hebrews 10:16, 17 kjv

16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

There is a saying out there that goes, “blood is thicker than water.”  Basically, it means family relationships trump all others.  But recently, I discovered that it is believed by some that the original saying was, “the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb.”  Which actually means a blood covenant made with another party is more powerful than even your own family bonds.  There is no greater agreement or arrangement or bond than a blood covenant.  It creates a bond between two parties that is so binding that death should come to the person who breaks it.  It gives both parties an unshakable assurance and confidence.

God makes a covenant with us through the blood of Christ.  Then through the conduit of that bond, He begins to write His Laws...His Will...His Words...His Desires...His Thoughts upon our hearts and minds, many times without us even knowing it.  And then, to top it all off,  He moves and removes any and everything out of the way...just to get to you and I.  It doesn’t matter if it’s sin or iniquity or weakness.  It doesn’t matter if it’s past, present, or future.  This is the UNSTOPPABLE force of God’s Love!
