LifeGroups

Our Ministry

Here at Faith we encourage everyone to participate in a small group. LifeGroups are Faith’s small groups of 8-16 people that meet weekly in convenient locations throughout the southwest Dallas metro area. LifeGroups at Faith are not your typical Bible studies - they are places for worship, service, prayer, and reaching out to our friends. Through studying the Bible, serving, and praying together, LifeGroup members find the mutual support, practical love, and encouragement to grow and deepen their relationship with Christ.

Faith Bible Church LifeGroups Do 4 Things:

1. Opening/Business - This is the first section of our time together and through this we seek to create an atmosphere of love by building relationships and communicating accurate information about the groups schedule. During this time, we will have snacks, play some games and catch up on how everyone's week has gone.

2. Truth Without Compromise- Every LifeGroup at Faith seeks to hear God's Word through a daily reading plan for the purpose of encouraging Spiritual maturity. During this time, the Leader of the group will lead a discussion about the passages on the reading schedule for the past week

3. Prayer without Doubt -  LifeGroups at Faith pray together to respond to what God said by requesting His intervention in our lives. During this time, we pray for each other's requests and share what is going on in our lives

4. Serving Instinctively/Sharing Selflessly - LifeGroups discuss serving and sharing o act on what God has said by serving others and sharing with our lost friends. This time allows us to plan our service opportunities and help us intentionally share with our lost friends.

How Do I Join?

LifeGroups form January and August of every year and the semesters run for 3 months at a time.  But you can also join a LifeGroup in the middle of a semester too! If you are interested in joining a LifeGroup, contact Sue Lord, slord or 972-223-0000.  We would love to hear from you! We will find a group that is suitable to you and then ask the leader to contact you with an official invitation.
