The Faith of a Child….
Here at Faith we recognize that the nursery is one of the first places God’s love can be shown to our children. That is why we dedicate ourselves to the mission of providing a safe, loving environment where babies and toddlers learn basic biblical truths, which allows parents the opportunity to worship and serve the Lord. Our nursery staff is made up of parents and volunteers who want to make you and your child feel comfortable and secure while attending services. We do more than simply babysit during the services. We “train up your children in the way they should go.” Proverbs 22:6
What to Expect
Saturday Nights- During the Saturday evening services the Tree House Nursery is open for children 0-5yrs of age. The children will enjoy time to play together and then will watch a KidMo Lil’K video which has a Bible story, songs, and review games for the kids. After the video the kids will have a craft time followed by more fun activities and play!
Sunday Mornings- During first hour, our toddlers will have guided playtime followed by a Bible story, song time, and crafts. At the end of first hour, there will be a short snack time. During second hour, the Bible story will be reinforced through stories and activities and the children will have the opportunity to play and learn how to interact with others.
Faithfull Feet on Tuesday Mornings- During the Ladies’ Bible Study on Tuesday mornings, the Tree House Nursery is open for children 0-4. The children will be given a Bible Story with crafts and fun activities which reinforce the story of the day. After snack time, the toddlers will get to either go to our “Tree House playground” or, during bad weather, will get to go to our gym and learn new games.
For the homeschooled children who are too old for the Tree House Nursery, there is a homeschooler study hall available where the children will receive help with their homework and will also have the opportunity to go to the playground to play.
Mother’s Day Out on Thursdays- Using the WEE Learn curriculum from LifeWay, our Mother’s Day Out program focuses on developing our preschooler’s physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual skills while giving them a fun environment to learn in. The preschoolers, 13 months- 4 years, are given the opportunity to learn and grow through story times, crafts, guided play, and through the encouragement of our staff.
How to Find Us & Check In
The Nursery is located in the Tree House @ Faith. As you enter the Worship Center building, take the left hallway off the lobby. You will see the Tree House. When you arrive, you will be greeted at the front of the nursery by a staff member who will help you sign your child into our computer system. First time visitors will be asked to fill out some basic questions to help us insure the safety of your child and help us keep our records up to date. Once your child has been signed in you will be given a pager and security tag which will match the information on your child’s security name tag. When you pick up your child we will first ask that you turn in the pager and security tag so that we can insure your child is picked up by the correct adult.
