Bridges Safehouse
Bridges Safehouse takes young women out of crisis situations and gives them hope. They provide transitional housing for homeless pregnant women and victims of sexual assault. The young women they serve are given unconditional love by volunteers who come in 3 hour shifts all through the day, to spend time and share their talents. Bible study and parenting classes are also provided. Bridges Safehouse also supports Bridges Thrifty Boutique. The Boutique accepts donations of gently-used clothes and furniture. Duncanville Outreach Ministry
Duncanville Outreach Ministry is an emergency assistance program for those in temporary hardship living in Duncanville. D.O.M. provides assistance with food, water, rent, prescriptions, clothing, and electric and gas bills. Volunteers are always needed in the thrift store and in the main office. At Hope Mansion, God’s love provides hope and practical support for mother and baby struggling through the trial of a pregnancy in crisis. Hope Mansion exists to break the chain of generational poverty and hopelessness by providing women in crisis pregnancy a loving, structured residential environment, as well as the necessary time,resources, and support for them and their babies to become productive, well-balanced citizens.
