We are often drawn to stories because they involve conflict, struggles, a sense of direction, and camaraderie. A big way that we can accomplish our purpose of living to make
Him know is by telling our stories. I bet our church family has 1000’s of stories tell and 1000’s more that are taking place right now.
If you asked most people in the church what kind of “ministry” they are doing … chances are they would give you a list of ministry activities that look something like this.
- I teach a Bible study on Tuesday mornings
- I volunteer with the youth on Wednesday nights
- I am going on a mission trip in June
- I meet with my LifeGroup on Thursdays
These are all great ministries. Certainly ministry happens as a scheduled event on a calendar. But if we only see ministry as something that we can schedule then we are only seeing part of the story. This series of blog posts is dedicated to the complete story. Please consider writing down your story and allowing us to post it. Tell us how God is working in and through you. How He is moving in the ministries of the church and in the minutes of our days.
