Faith Bible Church

I recently had the opportunity to attend a conference at which Gayle Haggard was speaking.  I was interested in what she would share so attended her session...I even sat on the front row.  What I heard astounded me.  Gayle is the wife of pastor Ted Haggard who was also president of the National Association of Evangelicals.  She shared that late one evening she was alone with her own thoughts for the first time since her husband's scandal had hit the media.  While lying there alone in the dark, she sensed the Lord asking her this question, "Who are you going to be in this story?" 

She determined from that time to be a true and loving wife even in the midst of this scandal.  She decided to refuse to listen to the Enemy's taunts and, instead, bathe her mind with the truth of God's Word.  She chose God's way.  Let me ask you, regardless the difficulty you are facing today, "Who are you going to be in that story?"
