Thank you for your patience with us as we have been working hard to navigate this season together!
A Letter from Pastor Curt:
Dear Faith Family,
With an abundance of caution, the Elders have decided to delay the ‘tentative’ Controlled Soft Opening of church services from this coming Sunday (May 24) until Sunday, June 7th. Additionally, the Elders felt strongly that there is a need to have on hand, that first Sunday, personal protection equipment (PPE) that has been ordered but which is currently unavailable.
That first Controlled Soft Opening Sunday, June 7th, will find Faith Bible hosting two services: 8am & 10:30am. Providing further distance between service times will allow the sanitizing of the restrooms, hallways, auditorium & other needed areas. The goal is to have the ability to live stream the 10:30am service for those unable to or choosing not to be present on campus. There will also be monitors placed in the Prayer Room and the Choir Room. If needed, the Prayer Room will serve as a viewing area for the older members of the church family (65yo+ only). The Choir Room will serve as a viewing area for families with little ones and/or those present needing even further social isolation. Leadership will continue to encourage older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions and who might be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19 to shelter-in-place as they have been doing.
There is a limit of 150 attendees in both the 8am service and the 10:30am service bringing the potential total of on-campus attendees that first Sunday to 300. Eventbrite will be the online tool used to provide those interested in attending an ability to RSVP. The link to the Eventbrite RSVP page will be placed on the church’s website, Facebook page and emailed to the church family when it goes ‘live’, May 31st, Sunday at Noon. Please be aware that upon arrival in the church foyer, attendees will also be asked to sign-in, much like at a wedding ceremony.
As a consequence of this delay in reopening the services, Faith’s offices will also continue being closed until Monday, June 8th. Until that week, the Staff continues to be available but will be working remotely.
If you have any questions, call the church office or any pastor. Pastors’ numbers are available below. The foggy, uneven road ahead requires walking by faith - trusting in the One Who knows the future. While it may be uncomfortable...even painful, He will see us through this trial just like He has seen us through all those that have come before - and make us better for it!
