WHERE ARE YOUR PRIORITIES?

The natural man does not understand the teachings of Holy Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 2:14 states "But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of GOD: for they are foolishness unto him: Neither can he know them for they are spiritually understood." The desire of the natural man is to get all he can get and keep all he can keep. The accumulation of wealth is one of his most important goals in life. It is certainly not wrong to desire and labor to be successful. Every one has the responsibility to labor, to work to provide and care for one's own needs and the needs of one's family. Honorable labor and profit is good. The problem comes when one would pursue profit and wealth exclusively.
Many people leave GOD out of their life. They have no relationship with GOD. They leave faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior out of their life. The most important goal in life is to know GOD. The one thing that will endure through out eternity is genuine faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins.
Do you know Him? Have you placed your faith in the death of Jesus Christ on the cross as an atonement for your sins? There is no other way to become a child of GOD. There is no other way to go to heaven. Proverbs 23:4-5 states " Labor not to be rich: Cease from your own wisdom. Will you set your heart on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; They fly away as an eagle toward heaven."
Matthew 6:19-21 states " Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt and where thieves do not break through and steal: For where your treasure is there will your heart be also."
What are you laboring for? Where are your priorities? What are your goals? Where is your treasure? May GOD speak to all our hearts from His Holy word. The Bible says "if a man should gain the whole world and lose his own soul, what is he profited? or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?"  The answer is nothing. May the Lord bless His word to our life.
