MAKE JESUS KNOWN

Proverbs 3:6 "In all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight." NIV

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 (NASB95)
14. "For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore, all died. 15. And He died for all. So that they who live might not live for themselves. But for Him who died and rose again on their behalf."

These verses are jammed pack with conviction to act and surrender to the love and will of our Lord.  If God truly controls me, do I say no to His call for me to love all peoples?  Do I respond like Jonah? Jonah 1 When the Word of God came to Jonah, 2 Go to the great city of Nineveh because its wickedness has come before me.  3 Instead, Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish …

Do we look at those who don’t know Christ with disgust or do we show mercy and the love of Jesus, as He showed the Samaritan woman at the well. Maybe, we question the Holy Sprit’s leading, as Moses questioned God about his assignment to tell Pharaoh to let His people go.  We all fall short of the glory of the Lord, and we are all justified freely by His grace through the Redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24.   Therefore, we should submit to the Sovereign Lord and act in a way that pleases Him with everyone that we meet.  Proverbs 16:7 When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him” Ephesians 5: 8–10 “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9. (For the fruit of the light consist of goodness, righteousness, and truth. 10 and find out what pleases the Lord.)

When the Lords presents me with a need, I try to look for reasons to say yes, rather than look for reasons to say no. Although, sometimes no is the answer, that I am led to give.  I believe that nothing happens by chance but by the Sovereignty of our God.  Hebrews 13:2 Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels, without knowing it. This verse makes it easy to approach strangers and show a Spirit that represents the Fruit of the Spirit. I helps me to keep fear from rising up in me. Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is not law."  NIV

May we all live to” Make Jesus Known” and to welcome and “Invite everyone to grow together in our love for Jesus.”  May the light of Jesus shine in each of us as we strive to please our and God.
