STOP DOING WRONG - LEARN TO DO RIGHT
I like that ISAIAH brings God's disappointment with His "vineyard '' into plain view. Very descriptive and poignant summary of Israel. It can't be fun hearing that you are like Sodom and Gomorrah knowing of their destruction. But the destruction is coming because, as we learned in VBS, God keeps His promises.
And I see how God puts the calamity to come easily avoidable [ok, maybe not easy but doable] with 1:16 and 17. " Stop doing wrong, learn to do right!". And there it is, start simple and work out from there.
I'm reminded here to be aware of those that call good evil and evil good, or deny justice to the innocent, etc. These are things that I don't like either and can easily be found today.
