WHO HAS BELIEVED OUR MESSAGE?
You may be familiar with Isaiah 53:1, “Who has believed our message?” But an Isaiah 52 introduction could be “everyone loves our message.” Here are some Isaiah 52 notes about His redeeming provisions for us.
Awake Clothe yourself with strength; Free yourself from slavery; The Lord says, “Here I am”
How lovely are the feet that bring good news, Announce salvation…be happy…Your God reigns.
Even Isaiah 52:13 affirms “Behold My servant will prosper. He will be high and lifted up and
greatly exalted.” Hence non messianic Jews struggle with the suffering messiah in Isaiah 53.
So do we need to struggle with the truth of the suffering Messiah? The passion of Isaiah 53 is a
struggle. Meditate on Isaiah 53 and tears will flow.
He grew up as a sensitive man – a tender root.
He was not handsome and was easily ignored.
He was emotional and familiar with grieving.
He lived among bullies and leaders slandered Him.
He was seen as a loser and punished by God.
Oppressed and afflicted He kept quiet when His death penalty was announced.
DROP THE MIC AWAKE
He was our guilt offering. He bore our sins. “The chastening for our well being fell upon Him.”
And now our Father was satisfied. Our sins paid in full. We can never fix ourselves to earn an
Isaiah 52 redemption. Only the Father’s Isaiah 53 Suffering Servant was worthy to save you and me. The Suffering Servant invites you to happily shout your salvation. Do you believe His
message?
