CONTINUE TO SERVE GOD
[2 Sam. 2:12-3:39; John 13:1-30; Psa. 119:1-16; Prov. 15:29-30]
I found my reading of these passages profoundly moving to me as I continue to struggle with my life’s meaning. In the Samuel passage, David is shown struggling to unite the Israelites after Saul’s death into one kingdom under God’s rules. David fails in his humanness. I find refuge in the John passage as Christ teaches me to be His servant in this world. I will continue to serve God until He calls me home.
