THE UNSEARCHABLE GREATNESS OF GOD
Job 37:23-24 "As touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out."
Who can understand the greatness and majesty of GOD? No one can. The greatness of GOD is unsearchable. Who can understand the revelation that GOD is eternal? He has no beginning and no ending. He is the everlasting unto everlasting GOD. Psalm 90:1&2 states " LORD, you have been our dwelling place in all generations, before the mountains were brought forth, or before you formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting unto everlasting, you are GOD." No one has the ability to fully understand the infinitude of GOD.
Who can understand the awesome power of GOD? He created the universe simply by speaking into existence the visible and invisible world by His spoken word. Genesis 1:1 states " In the beginning GOD created the heaven and the earth." Colossians 1:15-17 states " Who is the image of the invisible GOD, the first born of all creation. For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers, all things were created by Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist."
Who can understand the love of GOD? The fact that He would die for us. Who can understand the depth of GOD'S love that He would die in our place, as our substitute, pay our sin debt, and fully pardon all of our sin? And then accept us into His family and give to us His eternal life. John 15:13 states " Greater love has no man than this, That a man lay down his life for his friends." John 4:24 states " GOD is a Spirit. And they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth."
Need I go further? " As touching the Almighty, We cannot find Him out." Job 37:23." What is to be our response to this awesome GOD? We are simply to accept Him as our Savior and give honor and praise to Him for ever. And stand in awe of Him for ever. He is worthy of all praise. Let us praise Him for ever. Amen.
