WHATEVER THE LORD PLEASES ... HE DOES
Whatever the Lord pleases, [H]e does, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all deeps.
Psalm 135:6
Knowing that the Lord does whatever He pleases could be a great comfort or very scary. That being said, it would be prudent to understand what pleases the ALL MIGHTY GOD, El Shaddai. Scripture exhorts us to “find out what pleases the Lord”[1] and to “aim to please [H]im.”[2] We also know if we desire to please Him, we must do it by faith; consequently, He rewards those who please Him. [3] Through faith, He works in us and enables us to do His good pleasure.[4] When a man’s way please the Lord, “he makes even his enemies to be at peace with Him.”[5] Implying that He does much more to ensure that those who please Him are taken care of.[6]
Below are things that are specifically called out as being pleasing to the Lord. It is not by any means an exhaustive list, since many more actions outwardly and in the heart are implied to be pleasing to the Lord.
I would encourage you to meditate on these and ask yourself if you are doing what pleases our Lord.

[3] Hebrews 11:6.
