SEE WHERE GOD LEADS YOU
Malachi. 3:6 “I the Lord do not change.” Malachi 3: 10 “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. ‘Test me in this, ’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.’”
We see in verse six that God does not change. So something in the Bible that was commanded by God should still be accountable to us today, even if we are not an Israelite. The principle that we cannot out give God still applies.
I don’t think that we should look at this, so much, as a commandment but as a way of life for us. God has promised to love us and wants our lives to be abundant. John 10:10 Jesus says “…I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
If we have a lifestyle of giving, giving of time, giving of talents, giving of money, we will not be able to out give God in anything we do for Him. Test Him, try Him, He is big enough and generous enough to abundantly supply our needs. Matthew 6:33, “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Reflect on this, meditate on these verses and take a small step today. When God responds, take another step and see where God will lead you.
