WHAT IS YOUR ROLE?
1 Corinthians 14:26 (NLT)
“Well, my brothers and sisters, let’s summarize. When you meet together, one will sing, another will teach, another will tell some special revelation God has given, one will speak in tongues, and another will interpret what is said. But everything that is done must strengthen all of you.”
Every person is given unique personalities, unique abilities, and unique spiritual gifts. One of the purposes of these gifts is to build up the church, the body of believers, those who follow and proclaim Christ to be their Savior. Have you found your spot in the church? What are you doing to pour Christ’s love into others. Do you just attend church, take what you can get, and go home and follow the motions through another week of life? Or do you find ways to participate, to be a part of the body of Christ, a way to pour into the lives of those around you and the lives of the body of Christ? What is your role in the body of Christ?
