GOD IS OUR REFUGE
Psalms 62:7-8 "In GOD is my salvation and my glory. The rock of my strength and my refuge is in GOD. Trust in Him at all times, you people, pour out your heart before Him. GOD is a refuge for us. Selah"
The Christian life is not an easy life. There are many hard places we must go through. There are many trials and tribulations we must endure. But we have the promise of scripture that He will never leave us. "Hebrews 13:5 says "Let your manner of life be without covetousness and be content with such things as you have, for He has said I will never leave you nor forsake you. So that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper, I will not fear what man can do unto me."
Many times we are troubled and fearful about the struggles that we go through. We have questions about what we should do. Where should we chose to go? What is the answer? The answer is trust in GOD. He is my rock, my strength. He is our refuge. 1 Peter 5:7 says "cast all your care upon Him for He cares for you." Psalm 91:1-2 says "He that dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my GOD, in Him will I trust."
Psalms 62:8 says "Trust in Him at all times. You people, pour out your heart before Him. GOD is a refuge for us. Selah." Which means to reflect on this great truth. GOD is a shelter and a refuge for us in the time of trouble. Take comfort in the GOD of all comfort and mercy. Pour out your heart before Him. Claim His promises. Find refuge in Him. Psalms 55:22 says "cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you."
