WE ARE HIS

The last chapter of Acts covers Paul’s journey to Rome to address charges made against him by the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem. Throughout the long sea journey God was with Paul through his shipwreck in Malta and many other trials to bring him to Rome. He remained free for two years which allowed him to preach and teach about Jesus openly and unhindered – answering the words of Isaiah the prophet about Paul’s journey, safety and ministry in Rome.

Paul continues his journey and message of blessings and redemption in Ephesians 1:4-5 with predestination for us. He chose us before the beginning of the world and at that time chose to adopt us as His children through Christ. His grace through His glory was lavished on us in all wisdom for His purpose. This shows that we are His from the beginning and will remain so through His love and grace forever.
